Preloved Books UAE x Casio: Turning Books Into Support for Gaza

At Preloved Books UAE, we have always believed that books can do more than simply tell stories. They can bring people together, create conversations, and, when used thoughtfully, become a way to give back.

This belief came to life through our recent Preloved Books UAE x Casio Charity Event, where books became part of a meaningful effort to support those affected by the humanitarian crisis in Gaza.

Books, Community & Giving Back

For the event, Preloved Books UAE brought a selection of preloved books to Casio, giving employees the opportunity to browse, discover new reads, and take home books at accessible prices.

But this event had a purpose beyond books.

25% of the proceeds from the event were donated to support Gaza through the Emirates Red Crescent.

As a small UAE-based business, being able to combine something we love — books — with an opportunity to contribute towards humanitarian relief was particularly meaningful to us.

Supporting Gaza Through the Emirates Red Crescent

The humanitarian situation in Gaza has affected countless lives, and humanitarian organisations continue to provide essential assistance to those in need.

Through this event, 25% of the proceeds were directed towards support for Gaza through the Emirates Red Crescent, allowing our little corner of the book community to contribute in a small but meaningful way.
